25/11: der oktober in bildern

hallo zusammen,
mittlerweile geht es mit siebenmeilenstiefeln auf weihnachten zu. nicht, dass ich grossartig in feststimmung waere - dazu ist der stress zu gross und natuerlich fehlt das passende wetter (auch wenns zuletzt sehr sehr regnerisch war) - aber ich freu mich schon sehr auf die anstehenden urlaub (tasmanien dieses woe, und weihnachten bin ich dann in AT). bis dahin muss ich zwar noch ein paar herausforderungen meistern, aber mei... so ist das nun mal.

apropos herausforderungen: die hatten zuletzt die feuerwehrleute. es hat naemlich massiv gebrannt, und zwar so richtig heftig um sydney herum. grund waren ein paar monate trockenheit und leider auch zuendelnde kinder... ich habs erst so richtig mitbekommen, als sich der himmel aufgrund der rauchschwaden verdunkelt hat, und auch ein weilchen so geblieben ist. angesichts der tatsache, dass die braende zwischen 70 und 150km von meiner wohnung entfernt waren, muessen es ziemlich umfangreiche feuer gewesen sein - und das waren sie aus. zwischenzeitlich ist alles geloescht, aber die flaeche von halb vorarlberg liegt in schutt und asche. gluecklicherweise ist zumeist nur sachschaden entstanden, und die vegetation braucht die feuer sowieso zum ueberleben, aber trotzdem sind mir die kontrollierten feuer lieber als quadratkilometergrosse flaechenbraende. uebrigens war das ganze auch in den nachrichten, zu sehen hier :)

ansonsten haben wir das heisse wetter genutzt, um die badesaison zu eroffnen und ueberhaupt die fruehlingshafte natuer zu geniessen. und endlich haben wir es auch mal wieder ins opera house geschafft (bzw. fuer mich sogar das erst mal), und haben ludovico einaudi beim musizieren zugehoert. und weils so schoen war, sind wir kurz darauf gleich nochmal hin, um uns ein bisschen comedy (ja, auch das spielts in der oper) zu geben.
