13/02: weil ichs grad im radio hoere...

... fm4 uebertrifft sich gerade selbst... derzeit laeuft eine weichspueler-d&b version von luniz - 'i got 5 on it' -fuer die, die sich noch erinnern koennen, das lied war ein klassiker im winter 95/96 und hat mich sicher ein jahr lang verfolgt... und jetzt kommt das ganze praktisch unveraendert wieder auf den markt... *schuettel* wobei es mir so immer noch lieber ist, als die abartigkeiten, die jennifer lopez (die mit dem fetten a...) mit dem netten track gemacht hat.

ueberhaupt sind momentan wieder abartige coverversionen unterwegs... ich erinnere an 'poison' von alice cooper, das momentan in einer sehr sehr ravigen version erfolge feiert. ich finde sowas ja grundsaetzlich witzig, aber die konvertierung vom hit eines fledermausfressenden altrockers zu der sterilen technoiden atmosphare ist selbst fuer wohlmeindende konsumenten wie mich ziemlich hart.

ich hab mich ja mal irgendwann mal ueber die r&b welle aufgeregt, die momentan ueber uns hereinbricht. fm4 hat sich mittlerweile auch schon angeschlossen und bringt neben dem ueblichen alternativ-einheitsbrei auch haufenweise r&b zeugs, oft getarnt mit leichten rap-einfluessen. meinerweise ist das die komplett falsche richtung... stattdessen sollten sie viel mehr material aus dem soundpark spielen... aber naja.

wollte ich nur mal gesagt haben.
